BookCaliber.com Book Reviews that
Follow Amazon Terms of Service
Amazon is known to crack down on
authors and sites (like Fiverr) for breaking terms of service when it
comes to reviews.
Amazon allows you to gift or make
available your book for free. They refer to it as a review copy.
You may not influence or pay for a positive review. The model that
has been built around their terms of service is to offer a copy of
your book for free in exchange for honest reviews.
You cannot influence readers. You
cannot incentives readers. Sites that simply mention free book in
exchange for unbiased reviews pass the test. Positive reviews aren’t
guaranteed. Reviews at all aren’t guaranteed. It’s up to the
individual readers.
When in doubt contact Amazon directly.
Your book took a lot of work. Never jeopardize it. Amazon changes
their terms of service and review policy constantly. One thing they
will never change is the option to give out review copies of product
and books. It’s been a standard practice since the beginning of
time.
BookCaliber.com follows Amazon’s
review policy strictly. They don’t allow readers and authors to
communicate. They don’t track which books you download and what
reviews you posted. Reader information is not shared in anyway.
They only handle PDF’s making it easy
to watermark or put some additional information in the footer or
header such as “review copy.” PDF’s are also easy to transfer
to people’s Kindles making it easier to read, instead of having to
read a book on a PC.
BookCaliber
offers budget friendly options to get a vital part of promoting a
book. A book without reviews doesn’t sell well, if at all. It’s
important to get the ball rolling with a few strong reviews. Review
validate a book and help provide that much needed social proofing.
